Description
Construction 101 prepares trainees for entry-level work in the trades. During this six-week course, participants earn credentials to build up their experience and resume. With established employer partnerships, trainees are given the opportunity to receive job placement.
Participants earn the following credentials:
- NCCER Core Certification
- OSHA-10 Certificate
- ReSOURCE PPD Badge

Construction 101 is tuition-free to qualified applicants. In order to qualify for free tuition, applicants must fit one of the following criteria of need:
- Low-Income (Household Income Less than 80% of Vermont Median Household Income)
- Any Diagnosed Disability (including recovery)
- Barriers to Employment
- Criminal History
Applicants who do not meet the above criteria will bear the full cost of tuition.
