Description
The Aviation and Aerospace Technology Program at Burlington Technical Center prepares students for high-demand careers in aviation maintenance through hands-on, industry-aligned training. The program follows FAA Part 147 standards and provides comprehensive instruction in airframe and powerplant systems using real aircraft, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Students build technical skills, safety knowledge, and professional competencies needed to pursue FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification and employment in aviation, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing fields. The program emphasizes applied learning, strong industry connections, and clear postsecondary and workforce pathways, supporting both career changers and individuals seeking to advance in the aviation industry.
