Instructional Program (CIP)
Description
The educational program offers an Enterprise GIS Certificate and teaches the use of GIS software, data, and workflows used in industry. Instruction is recorded video lectures and demos that can be consumed asynchronously. Bootcamp GIS certificate offers a technical certificate to students upon completion of 144 instructional hours. Students perform project based courses, talk with instructors via Zoom meetings, and receive career services advisory sessions.
Students are provided each of these services as part of the program.
- A login with access to the Learning Management System.
- A login to the Career Services Dashboard
- Geospatial software beyond the student license of Esri ArcGIS Pro
- Personal meetings with instructors scheduled as requested
- Career service strategy with networking resources
- Personal meetings with career service staff to mentor and review profiles, resumes, job announcements, biographical videos, interview responses, and target employers.
- Access to career recruiter job database
