DELIVERY DRIVER & PRODUCT HANDLER (NON-CDL)

Vermont Farm Table is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team — a company that truly cares about its employees, craftsmanship, and clients.

If you have experience driving or moving furniture, we’d love to connect with you. Don’t have experience? No problem — we are willing to train the right candidate.
A CDL is not required for this position.

We design and build solid wood tables in our Bristol, VT woodshop and deliver them throughout New England and New York. In this role, you’ll be part of a two-person delivery team servicing private residences, offices, and warehouses. Residential deliveries are “white glove” and require a high level of professionalism. Occasional installation services may be required for small-scale commercial projects.

Our fleet includes a 24’ box truck with liftgate and a 12’ van. Weekly routes may include travel to New Jersey and/or Massachusetts. Because residential deliveries vary week to week, flexibility in scheduling is essential. Overnight trips are occasionally required — all travel expenses are covered by VFT, including individual hotel rooms and a food stipend.

Delivery schedules are provided on Thursdays for the following week. VFT does not operate weekend deliveries. We understand the importance of work-life balance and strive to be respectful and accommodating of our team’s time outside of work.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience, with opportunities for growth.
A sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days of employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
(Other duties may be assigned)

• Safely operate commercial vehicles
• Handle furniture with exceptional care
• Efficiently load, pad, and secure furniture to prevent damage in transit
• Safely unload furniture
• Perform white glove residential deliveries with professionalism
• Capture and upload product photos during loading and delivery
• Conduct basic vehicle safety inspections
• Communicate with clients and warehouse via phone and/or text (phone provided)

REQUIREMENTS

• Satisfactory driving record
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card (VFT will cover the cost)
• Ability to lift furniture weighing up to 100 lbs
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work well with others
• Basic hand tool knowledge preferred but not required
• Experience driving or moving furniture is a plus, but not required
