Veterinary Receptionist | $25-$28/hr
Location: Williston, VT
Schedule: Part-Time | 20 hours per week

PEAK Veterinary Referral Center in Williston, VT is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist to join our Client Services team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, patients, and referring veterinarians while supporting our specialty and urgent care teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced animal hospital environment, and is passionate about creating a positive client experience during every interaction. Compensation+ $25-$25/hour based on experience, skills, and knowledge

Responsibilities+ Welcome clients and patients while creating a positive and compassionate first impression
+ Educate clients and referring veterinarians about hospital services and specialty care offerings
+ Schedule appointments across multiple specialty departments and urgent care services
+ Answer incoming phone calls and emails with professionalism and empathy
+ Coordinate appointment reminders, follow-up communications, and client outreach
+ Accurately maintain patient records, client information, and medical documentation
+ Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure a seamless client experience
+ Support daily front desk operations while managing multiple priorities efficiently
Qualifications+ Previous customer service, reception, or client-facing experience required
+ Veterinary reception or animal hospital experience preferred
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy with records and scheduling
+ Professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach
+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations
+ Comfortable working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
+ Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
