DescriptionThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Triage Specialist will demonstrate the ability to:
- Triage patient phone calls and respond with accurate information.
- Respond to medication refill requests as well as complete medication prior authorizations as needed.
- Obtain prior authorizations for in-office procedures in Gynecology and Urology.
- Maintain patient flow in the clinic.
- Respond to requests for information in an appropriate way.
- Perform procedures in the office setting, under direct supervision and direction of the practitioner.
- Organize the clinic efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to a pleasant and cooperative team environment.
- Stock clinical rooms, order supplies and room patients as appropriate.
- Accurately prepare and maintain patient charts.
- Cross cover in Urology and other Specialty Practices as needed.
- Schedule surgical procedure efficiently for Gynecology and Urology as needed.
