Job Description

Northlands Job Corps is seeking creative, compassionate individuals to join our team as Independent Living Advisors. In this role, you will help young people build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the workplace and live independently.

Independent Living Advisors serve as positive role models and mentors while supervising students in a residential setting. You will build trusting relationships with students, reinforce healthy workplace and interpersonal behaviors, and support their personal and professional growth.

This position provides students with guidance and training in areas such as independent living, leadership, accountability, communication, and decision-making. Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of motivated young people.

Primary Duties

Supervise and participate in student activities, with an emphasis on developing independent living, leadership, interpersonal, and workplace-readiness skills. Provide mentoring, guidance, and positive behavioral support while helping maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive residential environment.
