GIRAKOFI, LLC (Stowe, VT) Seeks Baristas - 6 Full-time, temporary positions available: 10/01/2026 – 04/15/2027. 40hrs/wk, Rotating shifts from 5:00am-1:00pm; 7:00am-3:00pm; and 9:00am-4:00pm (Mon-Sun). $17.88/hr (OT/$26.82) paid bi-weekly on Thursday. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company’s sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. H-2B application to be concurrently-filed with USDOL. Duties: Responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers. Duties include working with other Baristas to help take orders, make drinks and provide timely service to customers. Serve foods such as muffins, bagels, and sandwiches. Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders. Answer customers’ questions about menu choices. Taking payment from customers. Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs. Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized. Ability to stand for long periods of time. No Education Required. No Experience Required. On-the-job training provided. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Daily transportation to/from worksite will be provided to the workers at no charge (e.g. designated daily pick-up place). Worksite at: 1880 Mountain Road, Unit 1, Stowe, VT 05672, Lamoille County. Employer will assist workers with securing housing, but employer will not provide housing. If the worker completes 50% of the employment contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
