Trailer Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Hands-on maintnenace of our fleet of trailers used to transport compressed natural gas (CNG)
• Conducts monthly, quarterly and annual inspections of trailers
• Completes preventive maintenance tasks and necessary repairs
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service bulletins to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining and clean and organized workspace
• Assist in the assembly of new trailers or equipment upgrades while adhering to quality control procedures
• Keeps maintenance records up to date

Unique schedule

• Monday - Friday; 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Schedule may vary from time to time depending on business needs 
  •  

  Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience maintaining heave industrial or automotive equipment
  • A proven track record of puctuality and dependability, and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals and mechanical drawings, wiring and control diagrams
  • Hands on experience with trailers or farm equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
