Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated, adventure seeking individual to join the Hazelett Process Engineering team. Our preferred candidate will possess a sound understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and a desire to learn and improve Hazelett technology. Our team members utilize their knowledge, experience, and technical understanding of our equipment to drive process development, optimize machine performance, lead field service activities, and cultivate companywide understanding of our technology. This opportunity offers the ability to travel worldwide and interface with customers, all levels of management, and professional societies. It will require regular travel both domestically and internationally, often with short notice.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Provide technical customer support in person and remotely
- Drive process and operational improvements and development
- Support sales & marketing efforts for both new and existing customers
- Coordinate and execute commissioning, upgrade installations, and regular machine maintenance
- Maintain Hazelett process know-how by generating manuals, technical papers, and training programs
- Aid our mechanical and electrical assembly departments as required
- Provide internal guidance for repairs and non-conforming parts
- Generate basic engineering drawings and bills of material
- Maintain customer bill of material integrity
