Job Description
DescriptionThe Dietary Aide will:
- Follow department procedure for tray assembly.
- Utilize weights and measures to assure proper portioning.
- Assist on tray line and deliver trays to patients.
- Follow all sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Wash dishes.
- Coordinate area to ensure timeliness of duties.
- Operate cash register when working in the cafeteria.
- Assist in the training of new staff members.
- Attend department specific in-service programs and mandatory hospital wide programs.
This position will work every other weekend and rotating holidays. Hours 6:00am - 2:30pm, every other weekend 6:30am - 10:30am.
