Job Summary

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established company in the food service and hospitality industry to help them hire a Line Cook.

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable culinary professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position offers the opportunity to prepare quality food, collaborate with a supportive team, and contribute creative ideas while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines

- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment

- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures

- Set up and stock workstations with ingredients and supplies before service

- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control to ensure consistency

- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and reporting supply shortages

- Work efficiently during high-volume service periods while maintaining accuracy and quality

- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to support daily operations and assist with menu development initiatives

Qualifications and Must-Haves

- 2+ years of kitchen, cook, or food service experience, or equivalent experience

- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures

- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills

- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion guidelines

- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 pounds

- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain after hire

Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
