Job Description

The Vermont Department of Health is seeking an experienced Public Health Specialist to support the Impaired Driver Rehabilitation Program managed through the Vermont Department of Health. This role focuses on program development, compliance, and customer service to ensure high-quality  services to Vermonters and state partners working with the IDRP. The Public Health Specialist will collaborate with community partners, service providers, the public and government agencies.

Duties are performed in both a standard office and field settings. Private means of transportation must be available for required travel. Stress may be anticipated in dealing with emotional situations involving application of programs, especially in dealing with families and in the allocation of program resources.
