Job Description
DescriptionVermont Cider Company is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead operations across three warehouse locations supporting our growing beverage manufacturing business. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, maintaining accurate inventory control, and leading high-performing teams while ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience in multi-site warehouse operations, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across three warehouse locations, ensuring proper staffing, safe work practices, and efficient, accurate flow of raw materials and finished goods
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
- Manage inventory control processes, including cycle counts, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and accuracy across all facilities
- Coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to support production and customer requirements
- Establish and enforce safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards; conduct regular audits and training
- Maintain product quality by ensuring proper handling, storage conditions, and adherence to beverage industry standards
- Monitor and manage warehouse KPIs, budgets, and cost control initiatives to improve operational performance
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Partner with Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Cellar, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment and seamless operations
