Job Description
This is a seasonal job, from mid-April through late September.
You will be selling items from the gift shop and also live plants from the plant nursery that surrounds the gift shop. Also, seating people in the tea room, and taking their payments. Duties are:
Running an accurate cash register, and assisting with and writing up sales both inside the gift shop and outside for plants sales. Helping with stocking and displays in the gift shop. An artistic flair is a plus. Answering the phone, taking messages and tea reservations. Acting as host/hostess to seat customers coming to the tea room, and occasionally helping out in the tea kitchen. Occasionally watering plants. Light cleaning of the public spaces.
The business is 46 years old, and woman-owned, and you will be working in a beautiful and friendly place, located in a historic homestead, surrounded by gardens and interesting conversation.
