Job Description The Stern Center for Language and Learning is an education-focused nonprofit dedicated to expanding the power of learning. We are currently looking to hire a Special Educator to provide 1:1, intervention-based instruction in-person in Williston, Vermont. This role focuses on individualized intervention and requires strong collaboration and communication skills. Experience with Orton-Gillingham, or similar qualifications preferred. This is a full-time, in-person position in Chittenden County, VT. The hiring range for this position is $54,000 - $57,000 annually.Position Type:Full-time

We offer specialized learning evaluations, social learning support, speech therapy, customized instruction services, and courses and programs for educators and schools.
Job Requirements- Candidates must hold a valid Vermont Special Educator license and have experience delivering targeted instruction in reading, writing, and/or math using a multisensory approach.
Ideal candidates will have a BA/BS in education, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Special Education, enthusiasm for one-to-one instruction, and knowledge of assessment and interpretation. - At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
