Job Description

In this role, you'll work closely with supervisors and staff in our eligibility units to provide hands-on support through presentations, mentoring and coaching, and creative recognition and engagement efforts.
You'll also play a key role in recruitment and retention, onboarding new employees, and supporting professional development across the department. As a member of DVHA's Culture Committee, you'll collaborate on meaningful projects and initiatives that make DVHA a more supportive, connected, and positive place to work.

Telework:
The Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) supports a hybrid work environment, with three (3) office days and two (2) remote days each week. Upon hire, employees work with their supervisor to create a schedule that aligns with the business needs of the unit. We believe a hybrid work environment promotes autonomy and allows for increased flexibility and greater work/life balance.
Duties are performed in a standard office setting. Travel may be involved for which private means of transportation must be available. Short notice of critical meetings, quick deadlines for important reports, and need for sensitive communication under challenging and difficult situations required. Must be able to communicate and interact directly and communicate with all employees at varying levels of authority within the State of Vermont sometimes under highly stressful conditions.
