We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd Shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm). If you have 2 - 4 years of experience and work well in teams, we would like to hear from you!

This is a 2nd Shift position which offers an additional Shift Differential of 6%.

Description:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing proper maintenance procedures to promote the efficient and safe operation of production equipment, building systems and work areas. This role requires 2-4 years of hands-on experience and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Diagnoses machine/equipment malfunction and determines need for adjustment or repair.
  • Works with other members of the maintenance team in major plant production equipment and systems repairs including pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, gears, sprockets, chains, stream control, air control systems, and boilers.
  • Handles electrical repairs and installations by installing wires, motors, controllers, electrical fixtures and etc. to complete a work assignment.
  • Troubleshooting PLC and AC frequency drives.
  • Other duties/tasks assigned by direct supervisor or any managerial staff member.

Qualifications:

  • Two to four years of experience in electrical and mechanical diagnostic and repair in an industrial production environment.
  • Accomplished in the use of a variety of test equipment and machine tools.
  • Basic working knowledge of a P.C. - based parts and work order system is a plus.
  • Demonstrated positive safety attitude.
  • Individual must be quality conscious, detail oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and a team player.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical print and diagrams, both domestic and foreign.
