Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Safely operates a passenger van—often with a trailer—on steep, paved mountain roads, including manually shifting gears to manage engine control during climbs and descents and taking scheduled breaks to prevent brake overheating.
* Communicates effectively with shuttle dispatch and supervisors using radio and/or cellphone.
* Completes required verbal and written reports and responds to operational issues in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Performs thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, including cleaning and basic servicing, to ensure vehicles remain in safe operating condition.
* Complies with all traffic laws and resort transportation policies.
* Provides friendly, professional customer service and greets every guest in a welcoming manner.
* Assists guests with loading, unloading, and properly securing bikes onto the bike trailer.
* Listens attentively to guest questions or concerns and relays information to a supervisor or appropriate department as needed.
* Maintains a high level of guest service for all customers, staff, and visitors throughout transport operations.
* Performs additional responsibilities as assigned, which may include tasks outside the primary scope of the position.
