Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse. This role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment while supporting timely and accurate shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks, reach trucks, and Hi-Lo equipment, to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy in shipping and receiving processes.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Utilize basic math skills to accurately track inventory levels and assist in inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy equipment.
- Assist in equipment repair as needed, ensuring minimal downtime in operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic math principles for inventory tracking.
- Experience with clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, lift trucks, or reach trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Commitment to safety standards and practices in the workplace.
- Must possess valid forklift operator certification or be willing to obtain one.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
