Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans for patients.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercise programs, manual therapy techniques including trigger point therapy, and modalities to reduce pain and improve mobility.
  • Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatments, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
  • Conduct patient care activities with compassion and professionalism, ensuring safety and comfort during all treatments.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care.

Experience

  • Proven experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques essential for effective patient care.
  • Skilled in specialized therapies such as trigger point therapy and other manual therapy techniques to address musculoskeletal issues.
  • Familiarity with developing and following care plans tailored to diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics.
  • Prior exposure to outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine settings is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team dedicated to compassionate patient service. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
