Job Description
Primary Functions:
- Assisting the Construction Foreman and other team members in the construction of in ground swimming pools including but not limited to:
- Excavation by means of machine and/or hand
- Grading of soils
- Forming, pouring & finishing of concrete structures and flatwork
- Plumbing pool lines
- Shoveling & compaction of soils
- Installation of liners, filter systems, ladders & other pool equipment
- Communication and coordination with subcontractors
Secondary Functions:
- Assisting in the installation & service of slate billiard tables including but not limited to:
- Covering rails
- Moving slate
- Relocation of tables
- Assisting in the installation & service of automatic pool safety covers
- Assisting in Opening & Closing of swimming pools
- Remodeling & Maintenance of company retail store showrooms including but not limited to:
- Painting
- Carpentry & building
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. (Generally with assistance or the aid of equipment)
- Operation of a wide variety of hand tools, both powered and manual
- Drive truck (work van & 16’ box truck)
- Outside work in all weather conditions
- Ladder climbing
- Standing, walking or crouched/bent much of time
