As a skilled carpenter at Peregrine Design/Build, you’ll be the face of our company on job sites, bringing our design ideas to life with precision and care. What You’ll Do:
- Perform high-quality carpentry work on residential renovations and custom home projects
- Apply your skill in framing, finish work, and detailed build-outs
- Work collaboratively with teammates across design and production

Responsibilities:
General
- Strive to provide clients with superior quality, value, and service
- Understand the company’s mission, goals, and values
- Understand that each employee is a representative of Peregrine and must always
treat clients, crew members, and all those involved with the utmost respect - Represent Peregrine as the honest company that it is
- Bring a sense of comfort and confidence to the client that the company and all
employees are capable of conducting the work at hand in a proper manner - Represent in Peregrine gear during work hours
- Follow and uphold Peregrine Processes & procedures while encouraging your team to
do the same - Prepare a weekly time card
- Punctual & dependable daily
Core Capabilities
- Able to read blueprints & project specifications
- Strong carpentry skills in many of the phases of construction
- Able to problem-solve carpentry detailing
- Responsible for the quality & accuracy of the work that has been assigned
- Understand the project display board
- Work on skill instruction with apprentices; take time to mentor & teach
- Leave the job safe and secure each night
- Participate in cleanliness & safety on the job site daily and be respectful of the client’s
home and privacy - Willing to learn new skills and handle additional responsibilities
- Relay any issues, concerns, or ideas to the Lead Carpenter
- Maintain a good attitude towards co-workers and clients, working as a team
Job Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Paid lunch and coffee break
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must provide own basic carpenter and hand tools
- Applicants should live locally or within a reasonable commuting distance to Chittenden County, Vermont
