Restaurant Staff . 6 temporary, full-time positions.May 1st 2026 to 31 Oct 2026. Mon Vert Cafe LLC Mon Vert Cafe located at 28 Central Street, Woodstock VT. sandydmvc@gmail.com. Duties can include: Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies, Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces), Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions, Clean up the station and take care of leftover food, Stock inventory appropriately, Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion, Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards, Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers, Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps the dish area free of clutter and organized, Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks, Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift, Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers, Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by EcoLab, Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries, Maintains trash cans throughout shifts and removes full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift, Maintains the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves, Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties, Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed, Run food to the designated table, Bus and clear tables as necessary, Restock needed items on tables, in coolers, elsewhere, Take orders over the phone or on the register (not table service).“Butchering meat” duties consist of: slicing deli meat on our commercial slicer as well as dicing chicken breast and brisket. 40 hours per week. 10-hour workday. Friday-Wednesday. Four 10-hour shifts per week. Days vary. OT hours possible. OT would consist of the occasional fifth ten hour shift. Hours range between the hours of 6:30am-6:30pm depending on the role assigned that day. No minimum education required. 6 months of experience is required.No other requirements for employment. Travel will not be required. Work will be performed in the following counties: Windsor County . Wage: $21.00/hr . OT Wage: $31.50/hrWorkers paid biweekly Optional board/lodging available at a cost to be deducted from pay if elected. $300-$450 per paycheck depending on available housing. Free Staff meal and beverages for every shift. Paid Sick Leave. On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company’s sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers’ reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $16.28/day during travel to a maximum of $68/day with receipts/documentation of actual expenses. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of total employment period.
