The Department of Neurological Sciences at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine (LCOM) and University of Vermont (UVM) Health seeks to recruit a fellowship-trained, board-certified neurologist with board-certified/board-eligible qualifications in clinical neurophysiology to join the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at UVM Health in the role of Division Chief.
This is a full-time 1.0 FTE clinical position as attending physician and Division Chief, Division of Epilepsy in the Department of Neurology at UVM Health and a corresponding faculty appointment in LCOM's Department of Neurological Sciences. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in epilepsy, including epilepsy surgery evaluation, with an additional interest in clinical/translational research and/or resident, fellow, and medical student education.
The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at UVM Health serves a population base of approximately 1.2 million providing patients from Vermont and Upstate New York with access to an active Epileptic Monitoring Unit (EMU) and intraoperative electrophysiology monitoring program.
