Job Description
OverviewThe Vermont Department of Public Service (PSD) is seeking a Financial Administrator I to join the Administrative Services Division.
This position will be responsible for financial, administrative and clerical work. Duties may include:
- Preparing financial reports
- Maintaining accurate accounting and financial records
- Processing invoices for payments
- Tracking expenditures and generating reports
- Preapring journal vouchers
- Managing correspondence
- Public records management
This role requires an understanding of accepted accounting principles, internal controls, and federal grants management guidance is desired. The work requires a high level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software. The position is based in Montpelier.
