OverviewThe Facility Staff Experience Supervisor plays a critical role in promoting employee well-being and supporting recruitment and retention efforts within the organization. The Supervisor performs supervisory, administrative and coordinative work involving the planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive staff wellness programs to enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and overall job satisfaction. The supervisor collaborates with various departments to create a positive work environment that prioritizes employee well-being and contributes to long-term employee retention.

The Facility Staff Experience Supervisor provides guidance and support regarding recruitment and retention efforts, as well as general HR and DOC related information, protocols, and requirements. Work is performed with considerable latitude for independent judgment and decision-making under the supervision of the Facility Superintendent.
All employees of the Agency of Human Services perform their respective functions adhering to four key practices: customer service, holistic service, strength-based relationships, and results orientation.
Duties are performed primarily in a standard office setting but frequent travel to recruitment events, other facility/field sites is required, for which private means of transportation must be available. In-state and out of state travel may be required. Evening and weekend work may be necessary. Work under pressure of deadline and interactions with staff promoting opposing concepts are required.
