SUMMARY Stewards have a desire to serve. They look to make our guests comfortable while away from home. Our associates must have a keen intuition that allows them to anticipate needs and exceed expectations. These employees must have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, be team-oriented, and work diligently to resolve issues when they arise. They should always be looking for ways to enhance the guest experience.

This position reports to multiple supervisors during the course of their employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

  • Janitorial, housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
  • Main point of contact for day to day deliveries coming into the hotel for retail and housekeeping.
  • Set up and tear down of resort and hotel events.
  • Parking and event security responsibilities.
  • Partial building and grounds responsibilities, ie. weeding, snow removal etc.
  • Maintains building cleanliness during and after events.
  • Ability to learn computer functions of microsoft office programs.
  • Ability to interact with guests positively, make deliveries to rooms and set up cots and cribs for guests.
  • Ability to use laundry equipment, steamer and ironing equipment.
  • Helps coordinate projects between Lodging, Food and Beverage and Housekeeping departments.
  • Creates work orders when needed for event and public spaces around the resort for maintenance staff.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Lodging Director or Housekeeping Manager.
