Job Description

SUMMARY The Laundry Attendant provides a continuous supply of clean linen for our hotel by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stocking, in an organized and clean manner. Keeping front desk, housekeeping closets, and the laundry room stocked with clean linen daily. The Laundry Attendant is expected to provide prompt, courteous, friendly and professional service to all guests/staff at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

Cleaning hotel rooms including but not limited to:

• Empties laundry chutes

• Sorts dirty linen

• Sorts, loads/unloads dirty/clean linen from washers/dryers

• Folds linen

• Stocks/organizes shelves/closets

• Irons linen

• Keeps the laundry room clean and tidy

• Assists with inventory

• Reclaims linen (remove stains etc.)

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor, which could be directly related, or un-related to original position.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
