Retail Services Specialist
Posting Summary
The University of Vermont Print and Mail Department is seeking a Retail Services Specialist to oversee daily financial, operational and marketing activities related to retail services of the Waterman Print and Mail Center. Staff the customer service desk and answer and find resolutions for customer inquiries. Monitor, maintain and train others on customer facing in-office systems (Walk-up copy machines and computer stations). Operate all point-of-sale and service systems (registers, mail metering, UPS and FedEx software). Assist with communications and marketing strategies. Recruit temporary employees and work study students. Actively engage in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion, environmental sustainability and delivering great customer experience. Perform daily deposits and monthly reports.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
High School diploma and three years of experience in a retail and/or customer service environment with demonstrated skills in problem solving, customer service, marketing and/or promotions, cash handling and cash reconciliations required.
Experience with word processing, spreadsheet and database software and point-of-sale and on-line ordering systems required. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions.

$24/hour to $26.00/hour
