Job Description
OverviewThis position performs technical work in the Unclaimed Property Division of the State Treasurer's Office in maintaining financial records and claims management data by maintaining a significant part of a large, complex claims management and accounting system.
Work is performed independently within established policies and procedures, and is reviewed by technical superiors primarily through periodic audits and verification of financial records and statements. In addition, this person posts receipts of holder data and corresponding stock certificates, cash or cash equivalents; processes and records claim disbursements; and adjusts entries.
