The Vermont Department Of Corrections is excited to be looking for it's next Supplemental Housing Casework and Classification Administrator. 

The Supplemental Housing Casework and Classification Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being, safety, and rehabilitation of Vermont’s incarcerated individuals placed in out-of-state facilities. This unique leadership opportunity combines meaningful human services work with high-level contract oversight, problem-solving, and team supervision.

You’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals, travel to facilities across the country, and directly influence the quality of care and programs provided to those in custody.

Duties are performed primarily in a standard office setting.  Extensive travel to out-of-state facilities in other states is required.  Some in-state travel may also be required, for which private means of transportation must be available.  Considerable stress may be caused by the need to deal with emergency situations.  Work outside of normal office hours may be required.
