Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a Hands-On Turbomachinery Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical components and systems in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience with hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Assembly:
Assemble complex mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems based on technical drawings, and work instructions. -
Testing and Inspection:
Conduct functional tests to verify the performance and quality of assembled products. Inspect parts and assemblies for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards. -
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues during the assembly process. Perform adjustments, rework, and repairs as per our QMS work instructions and authorization levels. -
Documentation:
Accurately complete assembly logs, test reports, and quality checklists. Update work orders and inventory records as required. -
Tool and Equipment Maintenance:
Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Perform routine maintenance to ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition. -
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure a clean and organized work area to maintain a safe work environment. -
Continuous Improvement:
Provide feedback to manufacturing engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes and product designs. Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
