Job Summary:
School for International Training seeks an Associate Director to join the University Relations team. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and management oversight for a team of University Relations Managers to drive enrollment growth across a portfolio of institutional partners. This role supports the development of meaningful partnerships with U.S. colleges and universities, and mission-driven organizations to drive enrollment in SIT's study abroad and graduate programs.
This role is ideal for an experienced strategic and collaborative team leader who combines a target-driven mindset with a relationship-oriented approach. You bring a thoughtful, data-informed perspective to guiding a team, and identifying institutional growth opportunities. As Associate Director, you will work closely with University Relations leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement plans that drive enrollment growth, support team performance, and enhance the organization's institutional reach and impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of geographically diverse University Relations Managers, providing coaching in consultative sales, relationship management and professional development support.
- Manage team performance by driving accountability and accurate reporting toward enrollment targets and other critical performance metrics.
- Oversee territory and account planning, budget compliance, and partnership agreements ensuring team alignment with organizational priorities, enrollment targets, and regional opportunities.
- Leverage CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other data analytics platforms to evaluate team performance, assess engagement, identify trends, and guide strategic decisions.
- Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans in collaboration with leadership to increase student enrollment on SIT study abroad programs and graduate programs.
- Cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with key institutional partners, serving as a senior contact, supporting the University Relations Manager, for complex accounts and initiatives.
- Represent SIT at professional conferences and events, and high-level meetings, strengthening visibility and institutional alignment.
