Vendor Network Management:
- Build and maintain a network of trade and repair vendors to stay updated on inventory and buying opportunities.
Strategic Sourcing:
- Source materials for replenishment, sales, and brokering within budget limits. Identify high-value or fast-moving parts for commercial aircraft.
Market Analysis:
- Use online tools and Quantum Control to monitor market trends, updating the system as needed.
Customer Relationship Development:
- Develop long-term sales relationships and implement strategies to meet business goals.
Process Improvement:
- Maintain Quantum Control data, continuously improving purchasing processes.
Compliance & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure proper documentation and process orders.
Investment & Sourcing:
- Identify and source key units for investment.
Trade Show Participation:
- Attend trade shows, negotiating deals domestically and internationally.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Provide sales targets, monthly reports, and projections based on market conditions.
Cross-Departmental Support:
- Support Quality Control, Logistics, and Shipping/Receiving as needed.
- Supervise 3-5 contractors.
