Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Department: Maintenance
Current Available Shift Schedule(s): 2nd: 2:00pm-10:30pm | 3rd: 10:00pm-6:30am Location: Charlestown, New Hampshire
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.
Job Details:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, calibration, and repairs on a wide variety of PCB manufacturing equipment.
- Follows standard/established procedures while carrying out repairs. In the absence of SOP, this individual is expected to contribute to the development of procedures to achieve the requisite outcomes.
- Performs equipment failure analysis to complete preventative and unscheduled maintenance.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems.
- Logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system.
- Follows all safety procedures and protocols at all times, utilizing proper personal protective equipment (eye protection, safety shoes, respirator as required, etc.) and reports safety hazards and incidents to supervisor.
- Assists outside vendors and process engineers on specifications.
- Performs equipment assembly, positioning, and testing.
- Maintains tools and parts inventories. Generates purchase requisitions to obtain equipment/supplies and/or replenish inventory as required.
- Maintain a clean workspace and production floor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent, Vocational Training preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing work experience preferred.
- Must have hands-on / mechanical aptitude / trade (e.g. farming, construction, auto repair, machining, woodworking, plumbing, electrical, welding, etc.)
- Experience working and troubleshooting in the following areas: low/high voltage electrical (switches, transducers, motors, heaters, etc), instrumentation (setup, calibration), PLC (hardware, software), AC/DC drives (setup, calibration), electrical prints.
- Experience operating: hand tools, power tools, boom lift, scissor lift, fork lift.
- Comfortable working in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
Physical demands & Abilities:
- Able to work 8 hour shifts plus overtime when needed.
- Able to lift up to 44 pounds/20kg.
- Able to bend, lean, sit and/or stand for entire shift.
- Ability to climb up and down an 8ft ladder.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- High level of manual dexterity.
- Ability to operate factory machines and use software to run computer-operated machinery.
- Comfortable working around chemicals and manufacturing equipment.

- Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans.
- Recommend improved EH&S practices.
