Job Description
OverviewWork collaboratively with the Health Care Reform team to ensure consistent, timely roll-out of state delivery system reform initiatives and data integration and analytics, including health information technology (HIT) and health information exchange (HIE).
Develop partnerships and foster collaboration in order to facilitate the coordination and implementation of health care reform. Work with stakeholders to support collaboration with state partners such as Vermont Information Technology Leaders (VITL), Providers - including hospitals, Primary Care, Designated Agencies, and independent providers, and the Green Mountain Care Board.
Participate as a member of the HIT-HIE project management team.
Assist in development and procurement of procurement grant agreements and associated scope of work.
Provide policy research and analysis, synthesizing diverse sources of national and academic literature, articles on HIT, HIE, and other delivery system reforms. Make informed policy recommendations by utilizing data analytics to inform investment and policy recommendations.
Produce and provide support for communication materials about Vermont's integrated health care reform initiatives for a variety of target audiences, including health care providers, the general public, executive branch leadership, and the Legislature.
Environmental FactorsDuties are performed primarily in a standard office setting. Private means of transportation must be available for occasional travel. The incumbent must be able to reconcile a broad array of competing interests within programmatic and budgetary constraints. Significant pressure from deadlines may be anticipated.
