Job Summary:

As a Production Crew Member, you are responsible for the set-up & assembly of Precast concrete units. This position is working within a construction environment.

Essential Functions: 

1.     Protect Family and Friends. Ensure adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and guidelines, to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Support business activities, objectives, and programs, and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) upon starting work.

2.     Innovation. Review the previous day's production daily to identify areas for quality improvement, while following the Crew Leader’s instructions to ensure a steady workflow and maintain respect and engagement throughout the day.

3.     Mastery. Ensure proper care of molds, tools, and equipment, and assist in preparing and staging materials for the following day to maintain an efficient workflow. Notify the Crew Leader of any missing materials or information to prevent delays.

4.     Determined. Disassemble, clean & set-up of Precast concrete forms diligently and safely.

5.     Obligated. Utilize the appropriate tools, protocols and procedures to handle and tie steel rebar cages, mesh & other internal components.

Requirements, Education and Experience:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or vocational training in manufacturing or construction-related fields is a plus).
  2. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in precast concrete production, is preferred but not required.
  3. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  4. Basic understanding of production processes, scheduling, and quality control.
  5. Ability to read and interpret production schedules, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  6. Good communication and organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes physically demanding environment.
  8. Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
  9. Authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel:

Position may require up to 5% travel by personal vehicle to offices throughout the state of New York, and New England based on the needs of the business.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more. This position works in varying weather conditions as well as on or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.
