Job Description
Our client in Bellows Falls, VT is looking for a Manufacturing Inspector to join their growing team!
Your qualifications for the Manufacturing Inspector position are as follows:
- High School Diploma/GED, Associates Degree preferred
- 3+ years inspection experience
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector is a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency with measurement tools
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of GD&T, shop math, and metrology
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be a motivated team player interested in working collaboratively
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple shifting priorities
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why’s and other quality practices
- Ability to stand and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift

As the Manufacturing Inspector your duties will include:
- Inspect incoming materials
- Inspect in process and final products
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Select appropriate measuring tools and understand correct operation
- Record data in computer system
- Ensure company processes are followed and recommend improvements as appropriate
- Collaborate with other departments to meet organizational continuous improvement objectives
- Other duties as assigned
