Advertising Copy Faculty Position – University of Vermont Medical Center Primary Care Mental Health Integration- Outpatient Psychiatry

The Robert E. Larner, MD, College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and The University of Vermont Medical Center are seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level on the clinical scholar pathway to expand a program for Primary Care Mental Health Integration for the University of Vermont Health Network. This attending psychiatrist will join an existing team of licensed social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists to treat an array of mental health disorders in outpatient primary care offices affiliated with the University of Vermont Health Network.

The Robert Larner, MD, College of Medicine of the University of Vermont Psychiatry Service hosts medical students on clerkships and electives, sponsors a residency in psychiatry, and sponsors a fellowship in child psychiatry.

The selected candidate will demonstrate the training and expertise to provide direct patient care, collaborate with other professional disciplines, and work with referring providers. An appreciation of the importance of and satisfaction from performing these critical functions and an ability to work collaboratively are essential. Applicants must have a medical degree and be board certified or board eligible in psychiatry.
