We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our Product Team. To succeed in this role, you will have a natural, analytical way of thinking and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users. This position is for a highly motivated person seeking a challenging and rewarding work environment. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and providing user acceptance criteria for testing.
Colorado Candidates: Pay range for this role is $50,000-$80,000 annually
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Curious and self-motivated, able to dig in and fully understand system functionality and business processes
+ Possesses and continually builds business acumen including consumer lending industry knowledge and the operational areas and systems Consumer Services currently uses to successfully service student loans
+ Works with Product Owner and stakeholders to evolve the product backlog around the goals and objectives of the product
+ Evaluates complex scenarios and translate to Story Maps and User Stories
+ Able to develop appropriate acceptance testing criteria and performs post development validation to confirm system changes are functioning as expected
+ Research and document requirements
+ Creates and updates system documentation
+ Identifies test scenarios
+ Collaborates with clients and other technical teams as needed
+ Displays critical, quality-oriented, skeptical thinking about the product
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or commensurate experience
Agile Certification is a plus
EXPERIENCE:
+ Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment
+ 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Quality Analyst
+ Consumer Loan Originations and Servicing experience a plus
COMPETENCIES:
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
+ Strong interpersonal, and analytical skills
+ Ability to work with both technical team members and business stakeholders.
+ Self-directed and highly motivated
+ Knowledge of or experience in an Agile environment
+ Ability to perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
