Potential flexibility with schedule – (8:30am- 5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm, 5 days per week or 4 ten-hour days per week)Physical Therapist will provide acute PT services in critical care, medical oncology, geriatrics, emergency medicine, general internal medicine, for RRMC’s award-winning orthopedic program. Under the direction of the Department Leadership, the staff Physical Therapist evaluates, establishes goals, plans and performs treatment, assesses treatment effectiveness, and makes discharge recommendations. In addition, the staff Physical Therapist promotes communication of patient care information among team members through daily participation in Interdisciplinary rounds. Physical therapists are supported by a team of physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians. New graduates will have support of ongoing mentorship by experienced therapists and access to guidance by team members in real time each day.
+ Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS degree or higher.
Minimum Work Experience
+ Previous clinical experience in hospital setting preferred.
+ Current Vermont State PT license.
+ BLS Certification through American Heart Association.

+ Demonstrates ongoing patient and family teaching as evidenced through verbal and written guidelines.
+ Ability to extract and interpret patient/family clinical information through interviewing skills.
+ Ability to resolve and identify complex cases and potential discharge problems.
+ Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
