Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift M-F 3PM-11:30PM

Job Summary:
Receives, stores, and distributes materials and products within the facility by performing the following duties.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Works collaboratively with all members of the Warehouse team to improve safety, resolve discrepancies, and maintain a high service level.
Operates powered industrial truck (forklift, pallet lift, etc.) safely to transport inventory.
Reads pick list, looks up inventory locations, stages material, picks components and delivers material to Manufacturing.
Understands & follows Work Instructions and Kan-Ban system.
Unloads van trailers & flatbed trucks.
Verifies pack lists against material receipts and notes discrepancies.
Puts away material.
Records location & amount of materials received and distributed.
Operates scales and weigh-counts material.
Operates cardboard compactor.
Processes scrap barrels and creates scrap tickets.
Performs water-spider re-supply of point-of-use inventory on the plant floor.
Assists with direct shipping when required.
Uses SAP as required.
Reads & responds to email as required.
Responds positively to priority changes during the shift.
Performs additional duties as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISRATIONS:
Must possess valid license and form license.
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically capable of operating powered industrial trucks and working at heights.
Stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms Regularly.
Walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear Frequently.
Sit Occasionally.
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with assistance occasionally.
Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Frequently.
Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
