Responsibilities

The Director in performance improvement will be dedicated to the profitable growth of the firm’s Healthcare Payer Provider Segment optimization group. The ideal candidate will bring extensive healthcare industry experience with a proven track record of delivering innovative Humarn Resources and strategic performance solutions to hospitals and health systems. This individual will hel in the design, development and implementation of large integrated (Human Resource , Talent, Productivity and Change Managemement) optimization programs resulting in high performing health care operations. He or she will manage multi- work stream programs to timeline / scope / budget across the larger platform. The Director will work with Guidehouse specialty areas and partner with the client to deliver robust solutions/outcomes for the client and ultimate revenue for Guidehouse for areas in including: performance improvement, supply chain, workforce productivity, non-labor productivity, clinical operations, shared services and/or revenue management. The Director will participate in and help direct nationwide business development and relationship management activities for Guidehouse Healthcare clients requiring optimization. Key Responsibilities:

+ This position includes responsibilities in both leveraging and delivering quality, high-level, consulting services to clients for the Guidehouse Healthcare Provider Practice. The following sections describe the specific areas of prime importance in the execution of these responsibilities:

+ Deliver industry expertise and management consulting services in support of client engagements in the Health Care Practice

+ Establish account management relationships with key client decision makers

+ Identify key industry issues and develop solutions

+ Provide delivery assurance support for engagements with targeted clients

+ Mentor staff on assignments within the account delivering services

+ Provide visible leadership within the account and the practice.

+ Leads consulting projects Statement of Work, Project Plans, Presents to Client Executive; Facilitates, Advises and Persuades key decision makers and influencers.

Qualifications

Qualifications

+ A minimum of 15+ years of increasing responsibility in health system industry or healthcare consulting combined with a strong focus on Human Resources Shared Services

+ Demonstrated track record in client management and measurable results for clients in health care services.

+ Proven experience developing client relationships including current and prospective clients, ability to assess and define their needs, position relevant products and services to address their requirements and play a key role in securing new business for the firm

+ Recognized as a thought leader and frequent speaker in the Human Resources Shared Services arena

+ Outstanding written and oral communication skills including public speaking for large and small groups, the ability to leverage the written word in a clear, concise and compelling manner as a tool for communication and persuasion

+ 5-10 years of proven experience successfully managing complex projects in a consulting (preferable) environment within timeline, scope and budget

+ Demonstrated experience as health system administrator/operator or consultant designing and delivering consulting services/solutions many of which encompass strategy, people, process and technology, with an emphasis on delivering centralized operational solutions

+ Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate

+ The highest levels of professional and personal integrity

+ A four year college degree accredited school is required – MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.

+ This position is open to candidate virtually from EST, CST, PST time zones as well as AZ, UT.
