Responsibilities

We are seeking team members who are excited about applying project management and human-centric research principles to design and evaluate clean energy and sustainability programs. We are looking for individuals who can support project management activities across large clean energy program projects and who can support research and workshops. Responsibilities include:

+ Conduct research to learn from customers using techniques such as surveys and interviews

+ Synthesize research findings and uncover insights that will inform design and recommendations

+ Use research to design and improve clean energy programs

+ Track and forecast budget status, run reports, and reconcile financial transaction data in support of daily operations

+ Support the development of detailed project schedules

+ Support the use of project management best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution

+ Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 3-5 years professional working experience excluding Internships, Co-ops, and fellowships

+ Familiarity with primary research methods such as surveys and interviews

+ Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

+ Proven ability to solve problems creatively

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred:

+ Master’s degree

+ 1-3 years professional working experience excluding Internships, Co-ops, and fellowships

+ Empathy for how users experience products and services

+ Qualitative research skills

+ Industry experience in utilities, energy efficiency, sustainability, decarbonization or market research

+ Experience with MS Project

+ Project management training

Additional Requirements

+ The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.

+ This salary range for this role is $63,600 USD to $95,400 USD depending on experience
