As an academic health system, learning is an integral aspect of work life at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (D-H). A central hub for learning, called The Center for Learning and Professional Development (CLPD), formed in 2015 to provide continued, graduate-level and clinical education for D-H and regional health care professionals. CLPD offers accredited learning activities in Continuing Medical and Nursing Education.
The Learning Design and Systems (LDaS) team supports all four of these groups with accreditation analytics, learning platforms and the residency management system. Additionally, LDaS includes learning design and development experts that design clinical learning interventions for teams across the system.
The Learning Systems Analyst performs analysis functions to assist in the development and implementation of the Center for Learning and Professional Development (CLPD) learning systems environment and the revision of that environment. They provide project management for assigned special projects as well as providing and coordinating resources for all applications and users of those applications.
This is a part-time (20-hours/week) fully remote opportunity.
Responsibilities : a listing of thekeyresponsibilities:
+ Functions as liaison with IS, division departments and accreditation managers and maintains multiple project tracking information.
+ Demonstrates a strong understanding of the technical aspects of applications, as well as the operational details and work flows within Continuing Medical Education (CME)/Continuing Nursing Education (CNE)/Graduate Medical Education (GME)/Simulation Center (SIM) as applicable.
+ Provides analysis functions in support of new or upgraded vendors, in-house learning systems, and special projects. Maintains vendor relationships.
+ Participates in the development and follow-up evaluation of system design and projects.
+ Assists stakeholder groups in system management function. Develops systems to ensure the effective maintenance of learning data and functionality critical to the mission of the D-H learning organization.
+ Anticipates learning analytics needs and reports on learning measures and metrics.
+ Consistently innovates business processes around core learning technologies.
+ Provides training and assistance to stakeholders and team members.
+ Performs other duties as required or assigned.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Educational Technology or related subject matter with 5 years of relevant work experience or the equivalent in education and experience required.
+ Organizational, communications, project management, and leadership skills are essential.
