United States of America, California, RocklinCustomer Care Post Date Sep 02, 2021 Requisition # 135454 Sign Up for Job Alerts Purpose: As a Customer Data Applications Analyst, you are responsible for analyzing the input and output related to show and marketing event operations. This position plays an interictal role in the UNFI Food shows and other large marketing events, by preparing and testing show data to ensure a positive customer experience. Analysts complete the supporting functions related to shows such as pricing analytics, root cause issue solution, order analytics, customer inquiries, problem solving and issue resolution. This crucial role interacts with external and internal business partners to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for communicating project status and updates, approval and review of all customer facing data elements, as well as tracking, trending and resolving key issues. Provide cross functional leadership working with Events, Account Managers, Inventory Planning, Supplier Relationship, Operations, and Transportation departments to deliver the optimal customer experience. Job Responsibilities: • Primary customer experience contacts for Events, Marketing, Sales and Supplier Relations for customer facing data elements. Maintain frequent contact and communication with internal and external business partners related to customer elements and operations. • Responsible for making independent decisions using individual discretion and judgement that result in long term issue resolution. • Analyzes customer specific national and regional custom pricing and discount data within UNFI and Show Application systems; ensures accurate pricing within UNFI and Show Applications systems. Drives results internally and externally to ensure all errors are corrected timely, accurately and mitigates future instances. • Analyze, identify, and troubleshoot item and order discrepancies from claims requests, identify and resolve technical requirements for supplying the customer item and pricing data files. • Ensure proper attributes and price structure is activated on each account. • Review and approve show related claims to ensure internal controls are being followed. Conduct analysis generate reports and metrics to support root cause and areas of opportunity. Drive results and monitor progress on areas of opportunity related to claims. • Acts as an onsite dedicated show expert on a wide range of show, customer, and pricing issues. Researches and resolves customer issues in cooperation with Show Application partners. • Travel as applicable to attend customer headquarter meetings, UNFI Trade Shows, offsite customer, or broker meetings. • Ensure the successful execution of the UNFI shows by conducting reviews of customer and pricing data, generating reports and files, testing show data to support the show operations. • Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Job Requirements: Education/ Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Project Management or a related field or equivalent experience. Experience: • Five (5) year’s customer experience related, and account management experience is required • Experience prioritizing and/or manage time, projects, records etc. • Must have experience servicing high profile accounts and the practices and procedures specific to the required tasks. • Analytical background in consumer-packaged goods distribution and/or category management preferred • Proficiency in analytics and reporting Knowledge: • Product knowledge and industry terms related to UNFI required. • Knowledge of all company business systems • Knowledge of customer experience systems and tools • Knowledge of policies and processes specific to customer experience functions • Ability to accurately performs system discounting and price quoting Skills/ Abilities: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. SharePoint and ASAP skills preferred. • High level of business acumen relative to key account management and sales. • Able to develop and maintain effective, positive internal/external working relationships with a diverse group of individuals. • Comfortable in an open, dynamic, and collaborative work environment. • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment. • Proven customer service standards. • Able to resolve issues appropriately and in a timely manner. • Ability to lead and motivate other team members • Good decision making and effective negotiation skills. • Analyst should have the ability to work a flexible schedule to support the customers available time. Ability to work remotely to support customer specific projects and tasks.
