As a Senior Privacy Manager, you will represent the 2nd Line of Defense and collaborate with the Head of Privacy and the Chief Privacy Office to foster an open and honest risk management and compliance culture within Citizens. The Senior Privacy Manager will help support the monitoring and oversight of an effective bank wide Privacy Program by providing privacy expertise and guidance to all CFG Business Lines/Divisions in effectively addressing all regulatory risks relative to their business line activities. The Senior Privacy Manager will support all operational functions of the Privacy Program by evaluating and managing privacy related risks, developing privacy related standards, policies and procedures and providing privacy guidance on all privacy related concerns across the bank.
+ Provide guidance, oversight and challenge to all Business Lines/Divisions on all privacy related risks, issues and concerns
+ Partner with Business Lines/Divisions to ensure timely identification, mitigation, resolution and escalation of existing and emerging privacy risks and issues
+ Collaborate with Business Lines/Divisions to assess privacy related controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
+ Conduct privacy incident investigation, analysis and response activities for all privacy issues reported to the Privacy Office
+ Perform privacy risk assessments of regulations and laws (e.g. GLBA, GDPR, CCPA and other frameworks and guidance) to evaluate risks and propose mitigation controls/strategies
+ Evaluate vendor contracts and services for inclusion of appropriate privacy and data protection provisions
+ Analyze new business initiatives and products to identify potential privacy risks
+ Monitor and analyze key risk metrics to identify emerging and potential privacy risks, trends, and issues
+ 6+ years Privacy, Compliance, or Risk experience
+ Strong working knowledge of privacy related risks associated with a banking institution as well as experience working in and/or building effective privacy programs.
+ Incident Response experience preferred including participation in investigations, analysis and other notification/response activities.
+ Strong technical knowledge and fluency. Attention to detail and ability to work part of a team as well as an individual contributor
