If an office career isn’t for you and you’re looking for a job that constantly offers new challenges, then you might want to look into becoming a handyman. It’s hard to nail down an exact job description for our handymen, simply because they perform so many different tasks over the course of a working day. One day our handymen might be putting in a new door and the next they might be fixing rot, or building a custom bathroom.
To be an effective handyman, you need a wide range of repair and maintenance skills. These include air conditioning, appliances, carpentry, drywall, minor electrical, flooring, kitchen and bath remodeling, painting, minor plumbing, pressure washing, roofing and windows and doors. A successful handyman is versatile enough to repair faulty appliances and toilets, fix minor electrical issues, remodel rooms, paint a building and handle numerous other tasks.
Handymen typically work regular daytime hours, although they might need to put in overtime on a big project. Much of the work requires a great deal of time bending, stooping and lifting objects, so a handyman should be in good physical shape.
We are seeking a Handyman Tech to become a part of our team! You will perform necessary work to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and structure of an establishment in repair.
