Off-Shift Systems Technician (#S4092PO)
The Physical Plant Department at the University of Vermont is seeking an individual for a full-time benefits eligible position as an Off Shift Systems Technician. This position performs first response service for all building and utilities trades equipment and systems, including emergency calls. This employee will assess the situation and repair or contact appropriate personnel if the situation mandates licensed repairs. This employee also performs preventative maintenance for all building trades.
High school diploma, vocational training in HVAC/plumbing and electrical trades and three years’ trades experience required. Ability to make independent judgments in assessing and planning work. Experience using computers and mobile technology required. Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain, and driver’s check required.
